WHO ARE ALTERNATIVE MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS
Alternative Medical Practitioners are those who practice medicine without the use of drugs. They use a variety of therapeutic or preventive health care practices that are taught only in colleges and universities of natural medicine and not taught or practiced in traditional Western medical schools, and treatment offered also differs from conventional medical practices.
Nutritional Medicine, Orthomolecular Medicine, Naturopathic Medicine, Herbology, Mind-Body Medicine, Homeopathy, Chiropractic, Biological Dentistry, Ayurvedic Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine are types of Alternative Medicine practiced by Alternative Medical Practitioners.

Dr. Olu-Sawyerr
Dr. E.H. Olu- Sawyerr is an Orthomolecular clinician and the Executive Director of Goshen Biomedical clinic in Accra, Ghana. He is a veteran health consultant and a member of the International Society for Orthomolecular Medicine (ISOM) and has over 40 years of clinical experience in Alternative Medicine. He holds three earned doctorate degrees – Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), Doctor of Divinity (D.D) and Doctor of Natural Health (N.H.D) with highest honors. He is board-certified by the American Alternative Medical Association as Alternative Medical Practitioner (AMP).
In 2010, he received the distinguished award of Fellow (F.A.M.) in recognition of his professional achievements, notable career development, and a high degree of professionalism in the field of Alternative Medicine.
Dr. Olu-Sawyerr has specialized in the treatment of chronic /degenerative diseases, including cancer and infertility, and success rate in all cases is remarkably high. He is the C.E.O and Principal Consultant of Rick Sawyerr & Associates, a firm of health consultants. Professionally, he is seen in the area of health as a leading voice of nutritional medicine in Ghana and the foremost advocate of Integrative Medicine. He has initiated series of meetings in this regard with prominent medical personnel, including those at the University of Ghana Medical School.
Dr. Olu-Sawyerr’s plan for the future is to see more and more people embrace Alternative Medicine as it is today in North America, Europe, certain parts of Asia and China to save sick people from suffering needlessly and dying prematurely. Dr. Olu-Sawyerr (Rev.) has a special place for God in his heart and believes in the power of the Omnipotent God to heal through prayer. He prays with his patients and has seen extraordinary outcomes when he and his clients are united in faith.
